My sis has medium brown hair, and an olive complextion. I told her she shouldnt dye her hair blonde, but she insists. She wants my opinion on which shade of blonde. ANy ideas on what shade of blonde she should dye it?

Maybe instead of dying her hair completley blonde she should put some carmel colored highlights in instead, she can always add more if she likes the way it looks.

A dark, dirty blonde. Light blonde on an oily completion-hair just looks messed up.

Maybe she could put in hilights. I hope she's not going to do it herself. If she is...I suggest you find the post titled, "Hair Emergency, someone please help" and let an expert handle it.

Her hair is probably going to go orange if she does it herself. Does she even know how to do it? I hope she doesn't start putting the color on the roots first. That part will be light then the rest if she does. I just don't think it's a good idea. If she trys to dye it dirty blonde,she will not get dirty blonde, she will get orange. If she does not undrestand hair pigmentation or the color wheel she will more then likely get a disaster. She will wind up at the salon to get it fixed.
