Since you want it to be blonde for the summer, I highly suggest doing what I did. My hair was black a few months ago but I got high lights in it to lighten it up, and not to mention, my hair was pretty damaged from all the previous bleaching/coloring over the years. I waited a couple months and stuck w/ the highlights and the other day, i bleached practically my entire head and MAN it is frickin blonde!!!!
