How long to redye my hair? Was blonde, now brownish ashy green, want to go darker brown.?

I was bleaching my hair blonde, but it got fried %26amp; I'm tired of doing my roots. So last night I dyed my hair light brown but it's ashy and gray and greenish now. I simply want to redye it a darker brown.

I'm not too worried with perfection, but i have to get this greenish tint out of my hair. I just don't want my hair to fall out.

Ahh, you didn't leave the dye in long enough if it's greenish.

Go to a hairdresser, it'll be worth it.

Your definately going to have to go to the salon for this treatment...First your have to get the greenish tint out before you can color..Im supposing you used an ash color brown? yes..O.K., go to the salon now and they will use a light bleach wash to get it out..Thats the only way...Shampoos, dish soap, and other things that people suggest are not going to get it out...After the bleach wash, they will then use a demi, permanent color, that wont harm your hair because they have a minimal amount of developer in them...They will have to use a warm brown color to get what your want..You said a dark brown? That might be too dark, as you were blonde in the beginning, and it might be too drastic for you..Go to a med level..Maybe a light warm brown..6wg...You could have them put foils with bleach while the rest of your hair is be colored..All in one process....Coloring from blonde to brown are tricky, when doing them at home...People tend to use ash for some reason, then end up with greenish cast in their hair....Good luck in getting this corrected..You might do something else when you get there, but this was my suggestion. Yes, you can get it done now.
