I am a hairdresser and i would not do it at home,you will end up with orangey red hair....There are 7 levels you have to go through before you turn blond and the products they have in the store is not strong enough to do the job right...I know it might cost more but if you really want to be happy with the resultsgo to a professional...

make sure you have strong colors, and you WILL need more than a couple things of dye, cuz the roots will come back in. If you want it REALLY blonde, you leave it in for a good extra 5 minutes.

It will go blonde, first get a lightener kit, that's a bleach, bring it to a beige shade then proceed to "color" otherwise you don't know what you will get. Good luck!

Go for the blonde but be sure to put in lowlights. If you're not completely sure then just put lots of highlights, then go for the red on the bottom.

Go to a pro for this kind of work, at least the first time. Get a color consult to determine the right shade of blonde - depending on your skin tone, etc. You don't want to go a shade that will wash you out or make you look bad. Your hair does highlights, so blonde shouldn't be a problem. Depending on what shade of brown your hair is, and how light you want to go, you might need some bleaching, too, which is really hard on hair, and I'd avoid it, if I could.

My natural colour is a medium brownish/reddish shade, and I've gone red and blonde both - a nice rich honey-blonde, as opposed to a ridiculous-looking whilte blond or wheat blonde, looks just fine unless you have a dark or olive complextion. And as for it looking like you dye your hair - you're going red with blond on top, so its going to be obvious anyway. Just keep 'em guessing and lighten your eyebrows to go with the new look!

Under "neef"? I have never heard of a "neef" so I presume you were trying to say "underneath".

You have 2 options I can see if you really want to go blonde.

1. Have it done professionally at a salon

2. If you MUST do it yourself this is what you do:

a. Bleach your hair first since you are going from dark to light. This will prepare your hair for the blonde color.

b. after you've washed out the bleach THEN you can dye your hair the shade of blonde you like.

Ok, personally, I wouldn't but then it's not my business.

Go to the professionals. Don't do it yourself. Have them do the cheap ones that wear off in a while so if you don't like it, you won't be stuck with it and you'll get your original hair color back.

well you should have lots of worries...especially make sure your hair is not dry or damaged in anyway first; mine was and the professional frosted with bleach anyway; now I have severe breakage that I cannot stop..so think about it and good luck..bleach is way bad for your hair!!

if a stylist does your hair you should be ok. dont try this on your own. dying hair red, if you dont do it right, the blonde will end up pink.
