i really want to dye my hair blonde.

its currently medium brown.I died it about a few times in the past 4 years. (not much). But i straighten it every day for the past 3 years or so. its really damaged and alottt of dead ends.

If i die it platinum bllonde( i may also have to bleach it to get it that color) will my hair like fall out?

I dont recommend it. You should probably treat it first put some type of treatment or leave in conditioner to help with the damage for a while before you actually dye it to give it some time to repair.

since you straighten it everyday you should also use a heat activated treatment to give it a protective layer when ever you use the straightener.

If you still want to go blonde you shouldnt bleach it because it will not be good at all for your hair. it wont all completely fall out or anything but you will have hair loss and the ends might not take it so well because they are damagedso maybe cutting some off before you dye it will also help

You have just answered your question for yourself. Bleaching your hair is one of the worst things you can do for it. I'd really try and wait for your hair to get healthier.

Don't dye it blonde. Bleaching is really bad for your hair. Wait a few years till its healthy. And yes, your hair may fall out.

If you keep using a straightener to straighten out your hair, that can lead to serious damage.

Or if you keep blow drying your hair after shower, that damages your hair too. Its best to air dry it.

Get a trim to take off tha split ends and then for a month, take a shower and then AIR DRY your hair. It should get better.

Then you can dye your hair.

I really don't think that it's a good idea to bleach your hair. However, if you're hell-bent on getting it blonde, go to a salon and see what the professional says. She might be able to do it with minimal damage.

in my opinion, no. i have black hair naturally and i dyed it blonde. it turned out really bright orange/blone and my hair was damaged for months. when my real hair color grew back i had 2 inch black roots and the rest blonde hair. it looked pretty tacky. i constantly had to keep dying it black to hide the blonde. it's a lot of maintenance and i have to keep cutting inches of my hair until the bleached sections of my hair is gone. you can bleach it if you want to, only if you have the time to take care of it and maintain it.

no it will not fall out. ive done numerous things to my hair. its currently blonde. i had to dye it like 10 times in a week to get it to the way i want it. its not falling, just really nappy

you should try bleaching it gradually, over the course of 6 months or so, so your hair isnt too overwhelmed with damage.

omg... yes it will fall out. you need to stop trying to be a bottle bleached blonde and go with highlights and lowlights so it will look natural. dying it platinum is like wayyy tooo time consuming for bleach to be on your hair. you need to wait like a month before you go doing anymore bleaching on your hair. it is already falling out and breaking off. you need to get a really good deep conditioner for your hair fast. you can also use olive oil leave it in overnight. use like once a week. good luck

dont dye it blonde you'll just ruin your hair, i bleached mine a few times and it makes your hair feel distgusting and i always have knots in the back of my hair, and its hard to brush

Please please don't dye your hair Blonde, not because it's not a good color or anything but because the bleach will strip your hair of what nutrients it still has left and leave you with something that looks like straw sticking out of your head. I've actually seen this happen... Not pretty. I actually suggest going a little darker for now and start using a nutrient rich hair mask. I have naturally dark brown hair but I get split ends very easily so I use this olive oil mask, after shampooing and conditioning I wring out my hair and apply this mask. Get out of the shower put a towel around my head or just wrap it up in a clip and go about day for about an hr or so then rinse it out. It works Wonders. Once your hair is back to par then dye it blonde.

no, dont dye your hair lighter. if you do dye your hair, then do it a dark color or dont do it at all. bc darker hair looks healther and if you do it a lighter tone then it will make it look worse and noticably unhealthy. its also not good to dye your hair if it is damaged bc that will only make it worse, and its not good to dye your hair too mcuh. so you may want to give it some time to recooperate....good luck though.

NO! Not yet! You need a good hair cut bad! Cut the dead ends off 1st. I say get some good conditioners. Me and my kids went to the pool all summer and it damaged our hair bad. We all got a good hair cut and I bought some leave in conditioner spray from Aussie. Our hair is looking better. But If I was you I would get your hair back to healthy again. Because your going to do more damage and its going to look like crap in the long run. So I say wait a few months. I know that you can't wait that long. But I really think you will hate it if you don't. Plus you need to get your hair cut more often. So your hair will be more healthy too. So, instead of buying dye. If your hair is already damaged, bleaching it will really damage it. I have naturally dark brown hair will some um um gray, and I get highlights of blond and once I had more blond highlights then brown hair. It got really damaged. Now that its dark again, but few highlights, it is much healthier and most of the dead has been cut off. No do not bleach it. If you need to color it, talk to a hair dye specialist and get a good cut to get the dead off. I have thick and healthy hair and bleaching over the years made it really dry. It is back healthy again. Don't bleach it when it is already damaged and thin. There are so many other wonderful colors and the dye makes your hair follicle thicker, which makes your hair thicker.

hi..i am a hair stylist and here is my suggestion...depending how long your hair is..i think if is really damaged you should cut those bad ends off and then it won't fall out as much..but if you bleach it too much IT WILL FALL OUT! trust me i am platinum blonde and i have that problem too..but you really have to have good products to take care of your hair..for instance if you flat iron your hair a lot you need to have a heat protector to help soften your hair up and protect ir from all the heat..and you really need a good flat iron..if you have a metal one..those ones are REALLY bad for your hair..they will break your hair off even more....my suggestion is to get the product called silk drops...it made by regis designline..and you can only get it at salons owned by regis..this stuff is awesome..i use it in my hair everyday...if you have a salon inside your wal-mart...called SMARTSTYLE...they will have it there... and put it in your hair before you dry it..but it doesn't take much...if your hair gets oily towards the scalp then just put it on your ends...but if you are going to dye it..you need to deep condition it too...another thing,... please don't try to go platinum at home with a box color because i guarantee you it won't work..it will turn orange because not everybody's hair is the same so what is says on the box is not true for everybody's hair...plus after you have orange hair you will still end up back at the salon to have somebody fix it...well i hope this was helpful..i love to help people out with their hair....hey where do you live...it would be cool if you lived close to me then i could do your hair...but i kinda doubt it...i hope i was helpful!

if you dye your hair blond.. it should hurt it too much more than it is... however if you do have to bleach it to get the color you wnat./.. dont do it becuase bleach in itself will damage perfectly healthy hair so when putting bleach on top of damage you are just asking for disaster. SOme things i would suggest is to (at night time is usually a good time) put some "hair oil" in the bottom hair where the damage is.. use jojoba oil or any other type of oil for hair.. it will help smooth out the ends and condition them

also do a conditioning treatment once a week

i will also say dont straighten your hair becuase it will just keep getting worse.. but... if you still want to keep straightening then thats your own choice but just do some things to help keep it in good shape.First get a trim (about 1/2inch- 2 inches depending on how damaged it is.. then start doing the oil and conditioning pack treatments.. also make sure to use a heat styler spray or hair serum when you straighten... after about 2-4 weeks your hair should start to show improvement and then talk to a stylist about geting it done (if you want to bleach)

no- your hair wont fall out, but it wil break off... sometimes very close to the scalp so if you want to bleach make SURE you realize it could be very bad in the end... if your hair takes blond dye well then i would say dye it ... most dye has conditioners and oils to hlep keep from damage but not bleach.

also take into consideration that the store dye kits dont affect everyones hair the same... i would suggest if you decide to dye it to go to a beauty supply store and look for a blond that has a base color of blue or neutral- this will minimize any orangey color and it is as easy to use as store dye kits except you have to buy the developer (the cream you mix with the coloring) seperate from the dye and you have to measure it.. but the instructions are right there on the box.

Do not worry you still can go blonde without bleaching. Your hair is going to be just fine. My advice is to steer clear of all the light blonde and platinum shades because your hair will be even more damaged and breakage may result( Never Bleach hair that is straightened whether ionic or chemically it is a big no no!) instead go for a darker shade of blonde. I dont think it would be to damaged- but what i reccomend is to first get your hair trimmed to get your hair healthy again and get rid of your dead %26amp;split ends and get a shampoo for damages hair for a month or so then you hair should be OK to dye blonde. And to be safe i would go to a salon and have them dye your hair for you:]
